Cant Image Capture M.2 NVME Samsung 960 EVO (Windows 10 Enterprise) Lifetouch Return Code 2147467259 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need help with image capture on a M.2 SSD. (Samsung 960 EVO 1TB NVME)

I recently upgraded my MDT Build to Version 6.3.8450 and I am going to try this now as I make this request. I don't remember the version  I had before but my MDT was created roughly 6 months ago whichever version was in the timeframe.

I have my Bios set to UEFI and I make sure the computer is not on any domains.

I have been able to do an image capture with 2.5 SSD and HDD.

I also ran windows updates and made sure all the drivers were updated.

    Latitude E7470 (Laptop)

Microsoft will not allow me to send a screenshot of the error message until they verify my account.

If anyone else has this problem can you please let me know how you solved it.

    Thanks

  • It is recommended that you use VMs with Hyper-v to capture images. At least that way there is no 3rd party drivers included and can be deployed to any manufacturer/model.

I use Hyper-V Gen 1 Vm to capture and we deploy to over 75 models.
