The NT account specified is invalid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Trying to edit a user and uncheck the box "User can be assigned as a resource".  When trying to save, receive the message "The NT account is invalid." The AD account was deleted prior to attempting to edit the user. Is there a way to work around this issue?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Hi,

Did you install project server 2007?

This scenario occurs on your side because after the AD Account is deleted, and the AD Sync with Security Group is performed, the account is removed from the related group, and the account does not have proper permissions to be a Timesheet Manager. Therefore, when the AD Sync with Enterprise Resource Pool is performed, the invalid Timesheet Manager will be reported.

You can apply the following hotfix to resolve your issue.
