Tasks Assigned - But Timesheet is closed RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    For one resource new tasks have been assigned, the week timesheet the task has to be completed is already approved.

    As it is approved, when PM publishes the task to the same week, system is not showing the new task in the approved timesheet.

    How the resource can see the assigned tasks in the next week so they can fill the actuals against them.

    If a user has created a Timesheet for the current or future time period, and then the PM assigns this resource to a new task in a project and publishes the project, the user�??s Timesheet DOES NOT display the new task automatically.  To see the new task, the user must either delete the Timesheet and then recreate it, or the user must insert the new task manually by clicking Insert Row > Insert Task.  In the Add an Existing Task dialog, the user must select the project in the Project pick list and then he/she can select the new task.  Hope this helps.
