WSS 3.0 hide site from main site RRS feed

    Hi,

    I am running WSS 3.0 integration into Team Foundation Server 2010.  I have a root site (Home) that has tabs to other sites which relate to TFS 2010 Team Collections (for source code).  Anyway one site under the home root site I need to hide from various people but still be accesible.

    Is there a way to do this so that only the appropriate people can see and use it?

    The system is built so you see all the navigation tabs that you have access to.  The one exception would be if you were running SharePoint server and had Publishing enabled.  In Publishing you can manually edit the visibility of specific sites no matter what the permission is.  But in WSS this isn't possible without building your own custom navigation control.
