Help. Is it possible to use Media Player 10 in Windows 7? Media Player 11 & 12 just don't allow me to do the same things I can with Media Player 10. Besides I like it's format, equalizer and flexibility. Thanks for any help.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 12:36 AM

Hi chris003,
I dont think you will be able to use Windows Media Player 10 on a Windows 7 machine :(. Win 7 uses Media Foundation for playing of most of the files and WMP 10 , is not built in to support Media Foundation.
However you can download the Windows Media Player 10 and use it on a Windows XP machine.

You could also use WMP 10 in Windows 7's (virtualized) XP Mode. For more info, see
