Multiple Trunks, same Ip, different https/http ports RRS feed

  • Question

  • I like to publish webservices with ONE public certificate but with different Access. One Webservice can be
accessed from everyone and the other should be only accessed by sepcific ip addresses.

For this i like to implement two trunks with same Ip, Certificate but different port.
The first one - without Access list on Default port 443 - works perfect. The second on Port 4000 says only
"404 -File or Directory not found" when trying to Access the application directly or "Request Error - Forbidden Directory
Listing Denied" when accessing the Portal page.

Why is this simple configuration not working? ( we have UAG SP3 )

    Edit:
I've found this in an TechNet Article at the end of the site
    ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee406221.aspx  ):
"To create multiple portals, you must either have multiple public IP addresses, or the same IP address and a different port on which to receive requests for the second portal."
