Will there be a significant increase in performance in Windows 10 20H2? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm using Windows 10 20H1 (last insider version). Unfortunately, despite the release of .Net Core 3, Windows performance haven't improved significantly yet. Will there be a significant increase in performance in Windows 10 20H2?

For most users, performance enhancement is most important in compared to other matters.

    Thanks.

Answers

  • you should ask this in the Windows 10 Insider Preview Builds.

But I didn't know that a part of the OS is compiled for .NET Core,
so wouldn't expect any effects by a new .NET Core version.

  • Hi,

Unfortunately, despite the release of .Net Core 3, Windows performance haven't improved significantly yet.

What measure are you using to assess the performance of Windows?
