Enable autoreplies to internet per user in Exchange 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way in Exchange 2007 to allow auto-replies to the internet for selective users without enabling it for everyone? I've found a way to do it for 2010 and was wondering if there was an equivalent for 2007.

    Thank you.

  • Hi Kenny,

In Exchange 2007, we can use the following cmdlet to set per user external OOF messages.

    Set-Mailbox <mailbox identity> -ExternalOOFOptions [InternalOnly,External]

For more information, here is a blog for your reference.

Exchange Server 2007 Out of Office (OOF)

  • Hi,
I think the same will work in Exchange 2007 too.

    Example:

    Get-Mailbox <MAILBOX> | Set-Mailbox -ExternalOofOptions internalonly
