Urgent - 365 synced stopped working! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I was syncing from on-premise to 365 - half have completed and some where still in the process.

I've performed the following which has broken the sync - Convert Exchange 2007 mailboxes to mail-enabled users after a staged Exchange migration. http://community.office365.com/en-us/w/exchange/845.convert-exchange-2007-mailboxes-to-mail-enabled-users-after-a-staged-exchange-migration.aspx

Is there a command to convert MEU back to on-premise so I can resume the syncing?

    Regards

  • Hi,

As Ed mentioned, please post more detailed error message for further troubleshooting.
Here’s an article about “Perform a staged migration of email to Office 365”, for your reference:
    http://support.office.microsoft.com/en-us/article/Perform-a-staged-migration-of-email-to-Office-365-83bc0b69-de47-4cc4-a57d-47e478e4894e
Note: After you have successfully migrated a batch of mailboxes, you can convert on-premises mailboxes to mail-enabled users. Therefore a user whose mailbox has been migrated now has both a mailbox on-premises and one in Office 365. Users who have a mailbox in Office 365 will stop receiving new mail in their on-premises mailbox.

Additional, here's an similar thread about "Change move a user back to on-premise exchange", please refer to: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/613/t/178711.aspx

    Thanks
