Setting specific 'work' on a Fixed Duration Task RRS feed

    I am currently trying to set work (in hrs) for a number of fixed duration tasks in my project plan. 

    Hoping there is a simple answer to this question - is there a setting in MS Project to stop it evenly spreading the 'work set' over the remaining duration of the task, say 0.50hrs per day, to what I want it to be - 7.5 hrs on 2 days in the month.

    Or is it a case of manually setting it? e.g. delete all 0.50 entries and then add in 2 entries for 7.5hrs where they should be in the month?

    Hi David,

    Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum:)

    Yes! Try using the Resource Usage view and enter the Work values in the timescaled cells on the right on the dates you want.  Unfortunately, Project doesn't have any intelligence and has to be told what to do and when to do it.
