Question
-
I am receivng below alerts:
Severity: Information
Status: New
Source: Exchange MOM
Name: General errors in the mail flow sender script.
Description: One of the mail flow scripts aborted its execution.
To determine the latest problem forcing the script to abort, look at the events associated with this alert and find the most recent event.
The initial event reported that:
The script aborted its execution due to the following error:
0x1B58(7000) Unexpected error code received from 'EMPMS.MailFlowSender', description: Cannot Impersonate Mailbox Access Account
This event was generated by the script: "Exchange 2003 - Mail flow sender"
can any one has any solution for this? any Help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Did you use the Exchange configuration wizard to use the appropriate mailbox access account? The SCOM agents are running as local system yes? You created the mailbox access account properly per the configuration guide? This error is basically saying that whatever account you designated as the mailbox access account cannot get into the mailbox. It's a permissions issue. If you open ADUC you should be able (make sure it's one that has the exchange extensions) to look at this mailbox and peep the security and rights of the account. That will give you some inidication of if the wizard worked or not.

If you connect to the agent machine running the script are there any error or warning event logs in the Operations Manager Event log that might indicate a problem occurring?
