SP 2010 Approval Workflow - Reassign and Change Request Email Problem RRS feed

  • There seems to be a problem with some of the e-mails in the Reassign and Change Request chains of the Approval workflow. When either of those choices are made, then person to whom the task is reassigned or the change request is set gets the appropriate e-mail with access to the correct form to edit the task. However, when the chain moves back to the person that requested the reassign or change request, their notification contains a link to a unchangeable form. All the buttons are missing. The only way for that person to complete their task edit then is to actually go into the Task List and select it there for editing.

    My question; is this the desired behavior, or is there something wrong with the e-mail chain.
