Powershell way of deploying a wsp solution RRS feed

  • Plz provide me the steps of how to deploy my wsp solution to the MOSS 2007 [x64] envnmnt with the help of POWERSHELL.

    Any pointers/ links

  • Although there are probably ways to do this using the object model, Moss 2007 wasn't written to fully support Powershell.  This is one of the nehancements that was added when SharePoint 2010 was released.  For automating deployment in 2007 you should stick to writing a batch file that calls the appropriate STSADM commands.
