Making "Run As" Work RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to allow the "Run As" option to work on an executable within a SteadyState restricted user?  We do remote support via the Internet and it stops our remote control session if we have to log off and switch to the Administrator user.  It would be nice to be able to just right click on the executable, pick "Run As" and then type in the Administrator password.  Every time I try this it restricts it.  Is there an option I need to turn on in SteadyState to allow this?  Is there also some way to bring up a command prompt within the restricted users session as long as you have the Administrator password (so I can run any program I want i.e. regedit)?  It would nice to not have to flip back and forth between the user's session and the Administrator to do this.

    Thanks!
