Exchange 2007 - Double Booking Room with Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010.

Question
-
My client has Exchange 2007 with a mix of Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 clients. I have setup meeting rooms so that the users can book them, and it is successfully popping up a message that won't allow double booking for the users with Outlook 2007. The clients with Outlook 2003 are able to double book the room with no warning. The users with Outlook 2010 show a warning of “Suggested times:’ It states “1 conflict, no rooms” but the room can still be double booked. Is there a way to get all of the clients to get a pop-up that won't allow them to double book the room?

Hi,
Please run “Get-MailboxCalendarSettings ResourceMailbox | fl” and post result here.
Please run “Set-MailboxCalendarSettings ResourceMailbox –AutomateProcessing:AutoAccept “ and test again.
You can also check if the OWA can receive the conflict message when double book the same room.
More information for your reference.

Hi,
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings <roomaccountname> -Allowconflicts $false
This will prevent anyone from double booking a room.
