  • Hello,

    In performance point 2010 when we export data to excel present in Drill through additional action, we  get the  following error:

  • The maximum row capacity in Excel is around 1 million. If you need to work a larger set consider working with PowerPivot.

  • Take a look at this other thread in the SharePoint forums - Performancepoint designer error - Update View Failed.  Sounds like you can make a modification to config file setting to adjust the MaxReceivedMessageSize property value setting possibly.

    Don't believe this is an Excel error, how many rows are you expecting?  Have you tried this in Excel and does it work as expected?
