When our users send links to an Excel file either using the right click > Copy Shortcut or using the Send To > Email a Link from the drop down, the files only open in read-only mode. The users have to navigate to the library that contains
the file to open in edit mode.
Odd thing is that it doesnt say read-only at the top of the excel application. users dont know it is read only until they try saving and are prompted to save as
