word 2011 for mac - page numbers RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to insert page numbers in a new document.  It has four title pages where I don't want page numbers. The next pages need page numbers. I have followed all rules but I cannot get this to work.  I have set a new page break at the end of the title pages but when I insert page numbers on the following pages, it also numbers the title pages that are before the page break. If I eliminate the page numbers on the title pages, it also eliminates the page numbers on the intended pages. HELP! (I have not checked continue from previous sections)

  • Hi,

Please note: Support for Office for Mac 2011 ended October 10, 2017.  For a better experience of using Office, we suggest you use the latest version of Office for Mac.

Here are some articles for your reference: Start page numbering later in your document in Word for MacAdd or remove page numbers in Word for MacInsert, delete, or change a section break.

Hope the information was helpful. If you have any updates, feel free to post back to let us know.
