  • Question

Whenever i open sound controls , i am given the following messege,

"Windows has detected that Audio Enhancements for the following devices are causing problems:

    Speakers (Relatek AC'97 Audio).

Would you like to disable Driver Enhancements for this device?"

The above messeges follows every time.....

I have Vista Ultimate installed with Final Version of Service Pack 1 (released in march 2008)..

I am having this same issue. It started even since I was prompted to install an optional update for my Realteck 'AC97 Sound Card Driver.

I tried many things and nothing seems to be working. Now, I can't even uninstall the update.
