Connecting Project Professional 2013 (Trial Version) to Project Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have paid for one month license for Project Online and subscribed to the one month trial version of Project Professional 2013.  I opened an existing project in Project Pro 2013 and want to connect to my PWA but it's not working.  I go into Manage Accounts and put the URL for the PWA in but it is not working.

Is this because it is a trial version?  I've done this before for Project Server and Project Pro 2010 and it worked without an issues

I also have tried adding resources to the resource center and it says to "add individually by clicking New on the Resources tab" but there is no "Add" tab.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks!

Answers

  • Hi, it should work as you described, there are no feature limitations in the trial version.

For reference, here is a screen shot of my Account Properties used to connect to Project Online

Do you get any errors when you try to connect?

  • Hi Ben,

Thanks for the response.  I got it working in the end.  There seemed to be some sort of delay, I didn't do anything differently and it just started working...

    Thanks
