How to verify a device has been registered? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. We have many users "enrolling" (not sure what the correct term is) their devices using the Microsoft Authenticator app.  Once their device is "registered", we then apply our MFA policy.  (We don't use text message notification or phone call.  Only Authenticator.)

Is there somewhere in the Azure admin console that a helpdesk person can check to verify if the person successfully registered their phone or not?  Domain admins use powershell...

    Get-MsolUser -UserPrincipalName username@company.com |Where-Object {$_.StrongAuthenticationMethods -like"*"} |Select-Object DisplayName,Department -ExpandProperty "StrongAuthenticationMethods"

Is there somewhere in Azure that a help desk person can check for the same information?

    Thanks.
