Access 2007 multi-user RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We recently migrated to Server 2012 from 2003. Yes we did a double migration since there was no way to go directly to 2012. Anyway we have a few 2007 Access db's that have no front ends. Our users would access the db's tables on a shared network drive. We had no issues with concurrency and multi-user environment worked well. Since moving the db's to 2012 Server we can not get the muti-user environment to work. Have checked all the security/permissions on the file structure and they are the same as the 2003 structure. The only feed back I have gotten from my IT consultants is that we need to split the db's to have a front and backend model.

There has to be a way to allow multi-user to access 2007 db's on Windows Server 2012 without having to split the db's into the afore mentioned model?
