Skype for business meeting invites look has been changed RRS feed

  • Hello,

    Actually one of our customers are facing an issue whenever creating a new meeting which is the footer that has been changed suddenly, so i was wondering how that happened is it an update from Microsoft or what? since i can't find any article mentioning that, and if yes can i changed it back to the old one?

  • Hi,

    that's not technically considered to be the footer, the footer information is text that you can add to the invitation that would appear below the help 'Help' link - you have full control over that element.

    I'm assuming you're talking about the "(same as access code above)" string, which is considered part of the fixed invitation body - you are not able to alter how this is presented format wise, but merely dictate what numbers appear there through your Audio Conferencing settings.

    Is this through Skype for Business Online incidentally? All my Online tenants include that string.

    The only other thing I can think of but don't have time to confirm is if it changes depending on whether you are using dynamic conference ID's VS static conference ID's - but if you haven't changed that setting then you can rule that out.

    I'm not surprised you can't find anything in an article, as I'd consider something like that to be so trivial that it's not worth mentioning - is there a particular reason?
