Footer issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working in a manuscript with different footers on odd pages and even. It was a template.  At the back section of the manuscript I inserted a section break and was able to delete the footer on the odd page, but when I do so on the even pages, it removed the footers from the entire manuscript. AND it is showing up in roman numerals.

I can't see where the problem is at all.

    Help?

  • Before deleting, you need to unlink the footers in your last Section from those of the previous Section. This has to be done for each footer.

Note that every section in your document will have three footers even if not displayed. A single page can have multiple sections.
