DISM Error 87 : Specifiec time zone is not defined in the image RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Trying to set the language and timezone for an offline image (Windows 10 pro 64 bit) via DISM, The image has the relevant language pack already installed, so far I have mounted the image using;

    DISM /MOUNT-IMAGE /IMAGEFILE:D:\IMAGE\INSTALL.WIM /INDEX:1 /MOUNTDIR:E:\MOUNT

    I have two variables, one called _Lang with sv-SE in it and the other called _TimeZ with W. Europe Standard Time in it.
    I am executing the following command to make the changes I want.

    DISM /IMAGE:E:\MOUNT /SET-ALLINTL:%_Lang% /SET-TIMEZONE:"%_TimeZ%"

    When this is run I keep getting the error - DISM Error 87 : Specifiec time zone is not defined in the image - which I have no idea what it means, I've tried googling the error but none of the answer matches my circumstances, can anyone help me out?

  • Hi rather than using variables could you not just use

    /Set-TimeZone:"W. Europe Standard Time"

    change timezone to your own timezone

    /Set-AllIntl:en-GB

     Hi, Not really, the language and timezone are being set from menu options prior to deployment via a WinPE USB.
