Hyperlinks in Windows Mail not active RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is a different problem than posted earlier today. I am trying to send an email to a large distribution with hyperlinks embedded. When I send to myself as a test, I find that links are not active. When I role over the link, cursor changes from an arrow to a finger pointing, but that's it.  No error message of any kind.  It's just dead. I know this is a Vista-related problem, because I can send the same message to myself via a webmail account and hyperlinks work. Thanks

  • Hi mfaust,

Try resetting the default browser in your system.

    Click Start, select Default Programs
Click Set program access and computer defaults
Click Custom, and select your Web browser
    Click OK

    Then, follow these steps:

    Click Set your default programs
Select your Web browser from the list
Click Set this program as default
    Click OK.
