Cell border thickness inconsistency during import from Excel into Word RRS feed

    User states that the issue was present in Office 2003 suite as well.  User was updated to Office 2013 to see if the issue is still present, it is.

    Configuration is as follows:
    - Windows 7 Pro (32 bit)
    - Office 2010 Professional (fully patched)

    When the user imports excel content into Word, the thickness of the cell borders randomly changes. Some come out fine, and others come out thicker, not as thick, etc.

    See picture for details.  Please note the picture is Office 2013, but the same issue happens in 2010 (we upgraded to see if it fixes).  Right hand side is Excel, left hand side is Word that has the content imported from Excel.  Look at the pink cells and note the border differences.

    Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank You!

    Do you see these differences also when you print, or is it just a display issue?

    Yes, the issue also appears when printing.  Printing adds another layer of complexity where the lines won't print like they show up on the screen.  There are even more differences in line thickness.
