2003 server crash event i: 1090 source: server agents RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise SP1 server crashed.  It didn't do a memory dump.  All I have is event in the system log that is Source: Sever Agents Category: Events Type:Information EventID:1090

System Information Agent: Health: The server is operational again.  The server has previously been shutdown by the Automatic Server Recovery (ASR) feature and has just become operational again. [SNMP TRAP: 6025 in CPQHLTH.MIB]

Can anyone assist me as to what happened here and how to prevent this from happening again?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

Based on my research, the "SNMP TRAP: 6025 in CPQHLTH.MIB" is generated by HP agents and may not be of help to resolve the problem. You may need to contact HP for more details on this. I just found the following thread from HP web site:

To efficiently find the root cause, I would also like to suggest that you contact our Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) to analyze the memory dump. If you didn't find any memory dump after a crash, you can refer to the following KB article:

Windows does not save memory dump file after a crash:
