Disable Dialog Boxes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to disable any/all error dialog boxes from opening in Word 2010?

I am running a .NET application that will open an instance of Word and convert the file to PDF. If any error occurs do not want any dialog boxes to open. I have already been able to disable the option ones, looking for any can be disabled via registry.

We don't have any methods to disable all the dialog boxes. We can handle some dialog boxes one by one using reflection, but I don't think that will work in your scenario.

What you are trying to achieve is possible thru Word Automation Services
