    ok so i have dual monitors setup and i would like to listen to my game sounds on my headset and my daughter listen to her movie on the tv speakers. i fought for hours yesterday trying to get it where i had 2 separate screens to allow video from game and movie simultaneously now the fragging sounds wont seperate. Am i the only one who misses how xp actually did what u wanted it to do??? any help appreciated.

    Hi,

    It depends on many factors such as audio card, application configuration. As far as I know, only one playback device can be set as default. However, some media players and games will let you choose which audio output device to use instead of the default one.
