Decline Meeting request Outlook keeps sending notification to organizer RRS feed

  • We have and Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003 environment. This is the first time that I've seen this issue but, I had a user receive a meeting request from an external user. My user declined the request and a declination notification was sent to the external user. The problem is that it keeps sending the notification to the organizer. I have checked outlook to make sure that the item was not stuck in the outbox and that there were no rules in place to would cause this. Does anyone have any ideas? Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • Tried creating a new profile and tested?

    Tesetd in online mode?

    Checked to see if the messgage is stuck in oWA?

    Tried removing the meeting?

    How often is is sent?  Any pattern?

    Yes, please follow Sukh’s suggestions to have a try.

     

    If you use another mailbox to test the issue (decline the meeting request), will this issue occur?
