How to find users list who received the bulk email and who did not receive it. RRS feed

  • We sent out email to over 2,000 employees, but we believe that about 800 have not received the email.

    How to find out who are all received it and who did not receive it. Kindly help.

  • run message trace against that specific email (based on the subject or the sender)

    Get-MessageTrackingLog -sender abc@contoso.com -Start "04/20/2017" -End "04/24/2017" | fl rec*

    or run

    Get-MessageTrackingLog -sender abc@contoso.com -Start "04/20/2017" -End "04/24/2017" | ConvertTo-Html > "C:\My Documents\message track.html"

    or

    Get-MessageTrackingLog -sender abc@contoso.com -Start "04/20/2017" -End "04/24/2017" -messagesubject "test email" | fl reci*

    Try the following command, it will list all users who have received the email:

    (Get-MessageTrackingLog -Sender "Sender@Domain.com" -MessageSubject "Subject Content" -Start "04/25/2017 08:00:00" -End "04/25/2017 18:00:00" -EventID Deliver).Recipients

    The result should be as below:
