Windows 7 & IE 8 Validation Errors

  Hi,
  
  Yesterday I installed Windows 7 RC (Build 7100) onto a toshiba laptop. Today, when I've been adding applications, such as Office 2007, VS 2008 to the machine and been using IE to browse the web I have been experiancing lots of Validation Errors. 90% of them have stemmed from within IE but a couple of been caused by Explorer.exe
  
  the IE ones take the following format:
  
  Proccess Name: iexplore.exe
  Module Name: KERNELBASE.DLL   OR  IERTUTIL.DLL
  Assert offset: 000120DF   << The value here is not the same each time.
  
  the two methods that I know have forced the error are:
  1) when using google as the search provider and typing in the inbuilt search box
  2)Closing the IE Browser while doing a download (i.e. leaving the download dialog open)
  
  Any ideas as to the cause of this problem or any solutions. I did search the forum a bit, as well as the internet to try and find solutions.
