  • Hi, anybody knows how merge security policies between GPO and "local policies". Particularly "user rights". Thanks.

  • If a group policy is applied that has the setting as the local policy then the group policy will override the local policy. Other wise it will apply the LOCAL + GLOBAL gpo settings...

  • Hi,

Can you please elaborate as what do you mean by merging settings. Do you want that both the policy settings should apply, or you want to take the settings from Group Policy and apply locally

  • Exactly I need the following: Grant "logon as service" to an Active Directory group by GPO but I don't want to miss the accounts that have "logon as service" right by local policies.

  • It seems this cannot be done because moment you apply Group Policy the local policy will be overwritten if there is any conflict.
