Integrate SharePoint Web Parts into a PerformancePoint Server Dashboard RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

I have created a Dashboard in PPS Monitoring and deployed it on SharePoint Site.In the Same page of the site I have added a SharePoint SharedDocument web part to list a set of documents. These documents listed have to be linked to the filter in the dashboard.

When the user selects the filter on the dashboard, accordingly the document list in the other webpart should change. how can i link the dashboard filter with the document list.

    Thanks,

  • It should be possible to create custom web parts using the method outlined in Nick Barclays post using Request.Params

    Hope this helps

  • Siva,

I have repeatedly been forced to move your PPS posts that you also posted to a SharePoint forum to Off-Topic. (Including a copy of this one).

Please note that I will continue to do so.

Despite the fact that as far as licenses are concerned PPS can now be used by people licensed to use MOSS 2007, PPS questions belong ONLY in the PPS set of forums. I will continue to either move them to Off-Topic or Delete them if they are posted to a SharePoint forum.

(It is in any case normal forum etiquette that posts are only made once not to several forums.)

  •  Aside from whether the question was posted properly, I'm interested in whether the question was answered?  I've wondered whether this was possible myself.  Would appreciate any technical input as to whether it is actually supported (passing PPS filters to other SP Web Parts).
