Project Server 2010 approval center RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We have migrated from project server 2007 to 2010. When the resource managers click the Approval Center, it is taking more than 3 minutes to load(even there are two time sheet waiting for approval). Also when they open and approved the time sheet,  it is navigating back to approval center and loading again.  In 2007 when they open and approve one time sheet it will load the next time sheet which is waiting for approval. But in 2010 each time it is loading the approval center and taking more time to load. For approving 10 time sheets it is taking more than 30 minitues. Is it the issue with product or any other way to resolve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks, Arun

  • Microsoft has released a pretty good white paper on performance monitoring
in Project Server 2010.  I'd recommend downloading that and following it
to identify where the bottleneck may be.
Needless to say, your experience does sound excessively slow, and is not
indicative of a "normal" user experience.

  • Hello Arun,

Could you please confirm whether the issue is reproducible on server or not?

In IIS disable Dynamic Compression setting for PWA Web application and SharePoint Web Services web site.
