"RDP data required to launch the application cannot be retrieved." RRS feed

  • I'm deploying Forefront UAG and I have a user getting the following error message when attempting to launch a remote desktop (predefined) session from the portal page:

    "RDP data required to launch the application cannot be retrieved. Contact the site administrator."

    This occurs in IE9 and IE10, both 32- and 64-bit versions, on Windows 7 Pro SP1. I cannot reproduce the problem on my system (Win 7 Pro SP1/IE9), even using the same user credentials. I cannot find any relevant entries in the event log on either the server or the client.

    The servers are two Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 servers in an NLB/UAG array. UAG is SP3, version 4.0.3123.10000.

    Any help is appreciated! Please let me know if I can provide more information.
