SharePoint Server 2010 error message RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have installed Project Server 2010 on WIndows 2008 R2 Appl server (SQL 2008R2 is on seperate Server) and while opening SHarePoint Central Administration Web Site, Under Monitoring i am getting below error, pls help to solve same...

  • Yes its the same "Farm Search Administration", also ensure your search service is running and configured , Central Admin >> Manage Services on server >> start the search service, it might ask you for some configuration, i am not sure as i don't have server accesible as of now but this should help

  • This error was there in Beta, try these steps to resolve this, it has helped resolving in past

    Navigate to Central Admin >> General Application Settings >> Search >> Farm Wide Search Administration >> Click on Service Application >> Configure if required >> Restart IIS  >> Error should be resolved

    FYI...

    There is no option with name Farm Wide Search Administration, it is Farm Search Administration, pls confirm...

    And while clicking on Farm Search administration, Under Search Service Application, There are no Search Applications in the system.

    Pls help...
