Clients cannot download updates from Microsoft


  • After adding a new DP, assigning a boundary group to this new DP, not adding the software updates to it and configuring the deployments to download update files from Microsoft, clients assigned to the boundary group are unable to download updates anymore.

    They try to connect to Microsoft because I see the locationservices.log file saying "Distribution Point-'net:" but the updates just will not download.

    How can I get this working?

  • Is your client able to access Internet sites?

    Is the site block by anything like firewall in your company?
