It looks like the old files have retained their permissions and are not inheriting new permissions from the parent folder.
To fix this, go to the location of the shared folder (target of network drive). Go to it's properties and then the Security tab. Click on Advanced. Click on the Change Permissions button below. Check the "Replace all child object permissions with
inheritable permissions from this object".
