Evaluating Windows Server 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

How can we evaluate our Windows Server 2016 in a sandbox before implementing on an actual bare bone server? The existing servers that we can use for sandbox testing are Windows server 2008 R2 and Windows server 2012 std.

    Thanks

    Regards

We have license for Windows 2016 we just want to try out installation. Technically what environment is required for the purpose of sandbox installation?

    Thanks

  • So far I have installed as a 2012 R2 hyper-v guest but it may depend on what your end purpose is whether you can do same or need it to be installed on physical hardware.
