BGInfo NVMe Gen speed RRS feed

  • Natively obviously not, but it can be extended in a lot of way.

So, if you have a way to get that piece of information via vbscript, wmi, environment variable, and so on, you can define a new custom field and add it to BGINFO.

If the disk you have installed also provided a WMI class to be interrogated, then you are lucky enough..

  • Just learned that there is lot of information in the WIndows SDK about NVMe..
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/fileio/working-with-nvme-devices

You may want to create a program that output all the relevant info to a text file and then read that one inside BGINFO..
