Feedback / Password testing RRS feed

  • Question

  • 1.  How do we provide feedback for future editions of Windows?

    2.  The feedback I would like to provide comes from using Vista - there does not seem to be a way to test a new password, without literally "putting it to the test" - unless I'm missing something, I would like to suggest that in the area where passwords are created, changed, deleted - there also be a way to test the current or prospective password - perhaps a field where the password could be input, and a button for submitting the password.  If the password is the current password, then an alert message would appear saying something like "Yes, that is the password."

  • Hi, As this forum focuses on Windows SteadyState specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows Vista forum:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.  Thank you for your understanding.
