Old School Exchnage 5.5 question. RRS feed

  • I have to recover an Exchange 5.5 server and I have the information will not start. When I try to run isinteg.exe -patch I get and error telling me I have insufficient rights. Can any direct to a way to fix this issues. I am diggin through old passwords not see if I can figure it out.

    The password for what? The Exchange service account? You can change
    that password on the AD User, but you'll have to change it on each
    Exchange service too.

       If you don’t get permission, you can’t finish this work. Your admin should grant permission to you.
       As far as I know
    Microsoft Windows NT administrator account is the Exchange Server service account by default.  You can reset password from AD.
       This is KB about exchange 5.5 account.
