  • Question

  • HI,

I have like 20 tables in one Data base...I want all of them to move at a time to other data base.

In the other data base the structure of tables are already built. So is there any way so tat I can move all of them at a time.

    Thanks

  • Yes, in SQL Server Management Studio's Data import/Export wizard you are able to select which tables that you want to include. And specify their destinations.

  •

Adurs you can use Import\Export Wizard only to accomplish this when you will run the wizard after defining source and destination DB you will get the option

     Select Sources Tables and Views

select tables that you want to export and complete the wizard in that case wizard will  transfer  the data from only selected Tables in that steps.

  • Actually I dont want to move complete data base.

There are nearly 30 tables in one data base and I need to move only 20 tables from that DB to other Database. Is there any way to move only limited tables.
