PWA 2010 - Java controls in Citrix environment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Wondering if anyone else has seen this:

We're using Ctirix as our remote access solution for Project Pro and PWA. Users of Ctirix are unable to see their timesheets in PWA unless they stop and restart Java once in Internet Explorer/Internet Options/Advanced - this is done in IE on the Ctrix session. Once the user does this stop/restart, the user can see the timesheet with no issue, every time they log on to Citrix.

We have IE 7 on the Citrix boxes.

It's important to note that the same users, when hitting PWA through IE on their desktop, are not seeing the same issue, even though most of them are also using IE 7.

Am I missing something obvious here? Is there some sort of incompatiblity or other issue involving Java and/or Citrix?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

Looks like IE application presenter configuration in Citrix environment issue

You may need to compare IE setting between local IE and Citrix IE

Also comparing group policy between the two systems will be a good idea

  • The citrix book has to be configured for this. My guess is that the java or something in the IE setting is not allowing what Microsoft needs.

    Cheers!
