Shared mailbox doesn't always sync when emails are moved RRS feed

    I encountered a somewhat peculiar issue recently, and was hoping to get some input.

    Background:

    A company is using a shared mailbox to receive orders and other customer-related email.

    After an employee has handled the email, it is either deleted or moved to appropriate folder, still within the shared mailbox.

    The issue:

    Two emails that had been handled and then moved by user A, were still visible for user B in the inbox. The issue had not been present previously, nor after that. All of this is taking place within the shared folders, and the emails are not visible to anyone else in the inbox, except for user B.

    My question:

    What could have caused these 2 emails to remain in the inbox for user B, even after it had been moved by user A to another folder?
