  • Hello

I'm waiting now for a long time to ForeFront Client Security Server sp1 to install it on a Windows Server 2008 x32  (of course I would prefer install it on a x64 system - but microsoft writes that this does not work...)

    Anyway, i've som questions..

    1. under the following link is what struck me, which I do not likeSmile
...ForeFront Client Security SP1 works on a windows Server 2008 only without the managementconsole! is this really true?

    2. It is true that on this site you can download the beta from ForeFront Client Security V2? and not a beta from v1 SP1?

    3. anyone knows when ForeFront Client Security SP1 is present - and where?

    Thanks for your answers

    Best Regards

  • Hello,

the release was delayed because problems with hyper-v compatibility - sp1 is likely to appear in july

  • With the console bit:

You will be able to install the Forefront SP1 Client on 2008, but your management server must be 2003 still.
