DPM 2012 R2 Agent Not Reachable RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have a problem where the DPMRA service stops responding and the agent becomes unreachable. However, this problem only occurs on a Exchange Server running the mailbox server role.If i restart the server and agent becomes reachable however after a days it becomes unreachable.

    There is no problem with DNS, networking, firewall, DPM server or anything else. I enabled verbose logging on the DPMRA service and collected the logs, in which i found:

    Seems like a problem with thread limits within the OS itself? I wondered if anyone else has come across this problem in their environment and got a fix?

    PS: I have a case open with MS Support at the moment but its still stuck in 1st line and not getting anywhere.
