Unable to create IMAP account in Outlook 2013 - indexing? RRS feed

  • The store C:\Users\pds\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\xxxxx@yyyy.uk - Outlook2.ost is being re-pushed to the indexer for the following reason: Index reset (or catalog signature changed), re-push entire store.

    This happens every time I try to add an IMAP client.  It is accompanied with an error in the 'checking SMTP server, sending e-mail' phase of checking.

    I've got two other accounts, also on the same servers, working fine so what's wrong with my latest attempt and how do I solve this?
